Start strong: understand the core loop, pick a simple build direction, and avoid the most common early mistakes.
1) Learn the loop
Roll
Each turn starts with a roll. Treat it as your “budget” for actions: damage, defense, reroll, or setup.
Convert
Convert faces into progress: prioritize consistent damage early, then add survivability once you know enemy patterns.
2) A simple starter build
Start with a “clean” plan: build around one main damage pattern, and only fuse when it clearly improves your win rate. If you feel stuck, reset the run and test one change at a time.
- Pick a consistent damage option and lean into it.
- Keep 1–2 defensive outs for boss rooms.
- Use rerolls to chase your main pattern, not random upgrades.
3) Progression checklist
✅ Finish tutorial, then do 2–3 quick runs to learn bosses.
✅ Redeem codes (if available), then invest into your main build path.
✅ When you can reliably clear early chapters, move to Advanced Builds.
